ON GOING - There is a project in the works to erect a statue of LtGen Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller on the grounds of the National Marine Corps Museum. This will be the first ever done to honor one of the greatest Marines to ever wear our uniform. The "Chesty" Puller Statue Fund is looking for donations for this statue. The Alton Leathernecks Unit #488 is doing a fund raiser and selling cookbooks. The books are $10.00 each and contain over 200 recipes. Anyone that may be interested, please contact Daphine Kappos at 618 254-0067 or 618 402-7620. The books can be mailed to you or arrangements can be made to get the books to you.

- 4/7/2012 - 2nd Annual All Hands Conference will be held at 2/24, Foster Ave Reserve Center. Doors will open at 0700, breakfast will be served from 0800-1000 with speakers covering a variety of subjects from 0900-1100. Static displays of equipment and more. Marines, Marine Veterans, Parents of Marines and supporters of Marines are welcome. Tickets will be $10.00 per person for the event. Please check back for additional information.
